Use Markdown for content

Description

This PR converts the content pages from HTML to Markdown.

Markdown is a format that's approachable to a wider audience than HTML, and encourages contributors to make updates to copy that has nothing to do with presentation.

I intentionally left the index.html as is for now, as landing pages tend to require more custom HTML.

Fair enough. In Hugo, you can create "shortcodes" that essentially are parameterized partial templates that you can use to create components that aren't available in Markdown. Don't know if Liquid supports something like that. You can also write HTML in Markdown (there's an iframe in the Events page).

I have no strong opinions here either way. I haven't even dug into the overhaul yet. I support whatever the consensus is on this. :)
