error on versions 4.5.5.79 and 5.3.2.129 #300

CX II OS version 5.3.2 is not supported yet by Ndless. What's more, once that version is installed on a calculator, it prevents from downgrading to an older version: IOW, your calculator is unable to use Ndless again for now, until a new version which supports CX II OS version 5.3.2 is published - if ever.

Same issue, but only on the TI-nspire student software

Just to be clear, is it possible that support for 5.3.2 might never come out?

It's possible, for instance earlier minor updates didn't get Ndless'ed because a major update was waited for so that people could at the same time get new features.

well nspire doesn't want their calculators to be known as devices you can use to play video games on. So whenever there is a new nspire os update, it usually is a patch to prevent ndless getting in that back door.

I'm so regretful because I misread the update and upgraded to 5.3.2. I really want to install khicas. Hope ndless team can make it compatible with 5.3.2. Best regard for team ndless!!

Hey Vog , i'm french and i'm from Paris so we enjoy ur project this far. I've understood that you are at the Origin of Ndless (at least i guess) First of All , Thank you so much because that's just insane ! Here's my problem : I just graduated to Highscool and bought my calculator. The one friend that i have too , and all people too , installed Ndless and started playin ames and enjoying But nobody wanted to install it on mine so i had to do it my self , and it wasnt possible ; I understood too late that the version of the OS had to match with the version of Ndless. So i just updated the OS to 5.3.2.129 like a Dumbass... I'm not here to tell my life but i had a really bad day and tought i could be forget that and play when i will intsall Ndless when i get home. And now i'm pretty sad and "scared" bc i see that ur still online "last tilme about 1mo" but the last Version of Ndless is from 2018 aprl. I cant enjoy w nobody.. So please bro , even if u dont wanna tell when its gonna be out (bc i read all topics about that and i saw that u said that "it will be out when it will be out") at least can we know , if i one day it'll be out ? and if yes (just if you want : when?) It could be sad to imagine or to say that Ndless isnt really Endless... With all support , congratulations and understanding. TysonLaRocket :)

Guys, it is very unlikely that he will respond as he is probably extremely busy with ndless. The only thing we can do to help is to be patient.

I too have accidentally installed 4.5.5 rather than the supported issue, hope a new version comes soon as I just setup the SDK and was looking forward to making programs with it and testing them.

It will come out once they find a back door to the code. TI doesnt want their calcs seen as gaming devices, so they restrict the coding and ndless just takes advantage of a opening in the os to allow other programs

is there anything that we can do to help speed up development? Got a Nspire recently after hearing about the jailbreak for it but got stuck with version 5.3.2, so hoping a new version comes out at some point.

I got my Nspire with 5.3.2.129, quite sad that I cant "jailbreak" it. Would be great to get more input in this issue like the difficulties etc since the last maintainer input was months back.

I'm with @SophisticatedFox4 . I just bought my new TI NSPIRE CX-II and i would like to install KhiCas and some games on it. Please, can't wait for 5.3.2.129 version because that's what my calculator runs. I'm just going to not update until NDLESS gets released for 5.3.2.129.

This makes no sense - Ndless may one day come out for what's the latest version at the time. And even now it's already past 5.3.2... so you can update to the latest already.

No, it's a lot of work to make Ndless work on a specific version, so it would be useless to try to make it work on an old version when a newer one is already available.

same here :( i think it's been a year now and its not done yet so it must be close to completion (or that's just me coping) i wish there was some progress updates by vogtinator at some point or another

Gonna upgrade my calculator to 5.4 because it shipped with 5.3.2, I really hope I don't miss out Edit: Changed my mind, don't upgrade your calculator, there's no telling what OS the next ndless will support
