Game keeps freezing on gsSP gba emulator. #390

On Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga, it freezes just before the transition into a battle. For the first tutorial battle, it freezes occasionally but when you enter any other battle, the star covers the screen and it just freezes. I'm able to open up the menu to configure graphic options or to restart the game, other than that I can't do much else. I've tried to skip the frame where it freezes by changing the frameskip to manual and setting it at the highest possible frameskip value. It did not work. Is there any way to fix this issue? If it helps any here's what I use ti nspire cx with os 4.5.3.14 Ndless 2019 4.5.3-4.5.4 gpSP Nspire Alpha 0.11 gba bios game

I've run into this same bug, although I'm not sure what causes it. Just make a save state right before you enter a battle, and reload back to that state until you get into the battle with no softlock.

Thanks, but I've tried that multiple times and the only thing I passed was the very first tutorial battle. Other than that I can't really do anything else. It is still stuck on the star freeze screen.
