Hijack sometimes fails #550

Version 2.0.9.8s standalone client

In Game User Name: Tol

On the morning (EST) of 9/27/13, I hijacked Opticore on the Europe satnet. I
was disconnected from opticore when the hijack scripts brought the last
component to 0, as expected.

I did not receive the hijack success email and the mission I had for it was not
completed. Opticore still appeared to be up in the GPS view even after several
refreshes of the satnet in the GPS, and after a re-login. Attempting to
connect to Opticore would fail, and the GPS dot would go red after the attempt
to connect, but would return to white if I refreshed the satnet using the GPS.

Later, at about 1:00 pm, I hijacked it again after it was back up and fully
healed. On the second attempt, the hijack went through exactly as expected.

This is not a bug. Read the Hijack Script description again.
Y'know what? I'll just post the relevant part here:
"...for the script to have any CHANCE of success"

That is a misinterpretation of the documentation. There is no (intended) chance
of a hijack hitting and failing. Missing hijacks is an acknowledged and
persistent issue.

So do we get compensation for having to abort hijack missions because of this
email issue, or should I just gut it up and take it like a pro?

Hijacks are completely nonfunctional right now. No hijack that was attempted
this morning is working. Reports are that this has been occurring for some
time. Not just random hijack failures but hijacks not working at all.
