This defect is a configuration file issue. To fix it, you will need to edit the
aDosBox config file. I recommend using the '920 Text Editor' which can be found
in the Android market. A good file manager will be necessary. I recommend the
'Android File Manager which is also in the Android market.
How To:
Use the Android File Manager and navigate to
/mnt/sdcard/app-data/org.hystudio.android.dosbox/.dosbox and open the
dosbox-0.74.conf file. Look for a line stating 'memsize=8'. Change the 8 to 16
( or whatever size in megabytes that you need). Thus for 16 megabytes of
memory, the line should read 'memsize=16'. Save out the file and over-write the
old conf file. Force stop aDosBox and restart it. At the DOS prompt, type in
'mem' and enter. You should see the memory updated.

Good evening, I have aDosBox (HYStudio) on a Samsung Galaxy S2 Android and it
works well. However, I can not find "dosbox-0.74.conf". I do not see "app-data
/ org.hystudio.android.dosbox /. Dosbox / dosbox-0.74.conf". It seems that
aDosBox has not installed on /sdcard/, but elsewhere.
Do you know the answer ? Thank you in advance. Sponti

You have to change the setting "where to download application data" in dosbox
to "sd card storage". Then the files will show up in the location mentioned
above.

also note. the directory labled ".dosbox" is a hidden directory. so it helps
GREATLY if you have a rooted phone and use a tool like "terminal" to get to a
proper command prompt. Maybe I'm a tad old school here, but you can find this
directory and edit the config file in vi.

It's not recommended to have an rooted phone, to show files and folders with a
point in the name. It must be changed in the filebrowser, to show files with a
dot. Change in dosbox the location from the config-file: Go into the
DosBox-App, and tap the Menu-Key from the phone. Then select "SDL Settings" and
then "Where to download application data". Select "SD card storage". The config
file is now saved and using now under
/mnt/sdcard/app-data/org.hystudio.android.dosbox/.dosbox/dosbox0.74.conf
