In the event that Lineage is included more than once (or some other event that
might cause the file to be evaluated again), shouldn't Lineage check to see if
it is already defined and then short circuit?
Lineage doesn't carry any stateful information —so this issue may not
actually matter — but it seemed important enough to mention.
