NEAR Open-Source Plugin for Bubble.io | Bounty TBD #38

Description

We're looking to have an open-source plugin for bubble.io built and implemented, so that non-developers can launch apps on NEAR through a no-code solution.

Context

NEAR is all about being the most accessible blockchain, and that includes giving opportunities to people who are not traditional developers to deploy apps on NEAR.

Bubble.io is a no code solution that has a plugin library that we can contribute an open source NEAR plugin to. They currently have Ethereum plugins for apps to be built on bubble with a decentralized infrastructure, so it should be possible for a NEAR integration to exist.

I REALLY like this idea.

As a non-technical founder who has been experimenting with several no-code tools recently I feel that this would be revolutionary.

I just posted this opportunity on the Bubble forum where several Plugin Builders hang out.

Is it possible perhaps that all or a significant portion of the requirements can be accomplished via Near API using the Bubble API connector? Noting this: " Embed basic NEAR account requests into bubble using near-api-js"? Thanks! Also quite interested in this. Believe an important initiative.

Probably! You may want to check out Datahub: it allows you to connect to a Near node so you can run the API (I'm just learning the basics of it now too)

Curious if anyone is working on this. Playing around with the API connector and NEAR API but if someone's making progress on it, would gladly defer to and support that effort.

Hi, Cameron. In fact, this is something I would like to puzzle out. I’m adept at NoCode and Bubble dev, and studying the docs and Zavodil’s near rest API server.

I’m not a node dev so digging into that to understand how I can get the api accessible. I have been able to address a local instance of the api from Bubble API connector, and I know this can be accomplished. Would probably need some advice or collaboration coming from the NEAR side, and I can carry the Bubble side. Make sense?

Is there a listing of this project and bounty somewhere? Thanks!

Hey I'm a developer whose worked with Bubble in the past and have gotten some of my own experience playing with Metamask, web3, ethers.js.

Interested in taking this up, if it's still open!
