Applicant should have full stack web-dev experience, a bit of computer science/math background, and passing familiarity with solidity.
We're a team from Monastic Academy, an organization that runs modern day monasteries working to create enlightened leaders that can solve the problems of existential risk and suffering.
This project involves trying to create a system that can find trustworthy leaders and incentivize them to do good things for the world.
We're looking to build a simple web app, connected to our reputation graph algorithm (we have reference code in Python, it requires up to an understanding of Linear Algebra). This app will allow new people to apply to our community, then be voted in using "trust tickets". Once in, they can talk about actions they're doing in the world, and be rated on how trustworthy those actions are.
We want this webapp database to be connected (as an oracle) to a standard ERC20 token on the Ethereum blockchain, such that as the token is minted, a bit of it gets distributed to people based on how many tickets they have received.
If there's time, we also aim to build an "impact flow" that can use forecasting to help people analyze how impactful decisions are, in addition to how trustworthy, however this is quite a stretch goal for our MVP.
