mainnet: synced node has regular Downloading blocks logs #11959

Several validators and RPC node runners have shown the logs like this: photo_2024-08-16 14 23 07

All of them shared they have 1 GBPS connection and the server is located in EU, so this should not be the reason.

The validators are missing blocks/chunks sometimes because of this. Can we investigate?

FYI I saw this in 1.40.0, and now it's about 2.0.0

I found this issue on 5-6 hours ago in neard 2.0.0 with my backup node but it seems working fine now. I used 1 GB connection and server located in Europe and US.

I regularly see the comments about this I suggest to keep it opened and collect some more evidences No investigation needed for now
