2023-11-27 Update:

• Design of epoch sync is stable
• Implementation of EpochSyncInfo creation and processing is done and its validation is 50% done
• Addition of epoch sync to the node flow is not started but planned for December
• Integration with header sync and state sync is not yet fully designed

• Design of epoch sync is stable, a part of the implementation is done (EpochSyncInfo creation and processing is completed, its validation is 50% done)
• No other progress was made during December, since we shifted priorities towards other tasks (preparing the 1.37 release, ramping up knowledge from Nikolay, split archival node support in forknet)

We have not made any progress since the last update. The project is waiting to be prioritised again.

-Status: At the moment the EpochSync effort is paused, waiting for the project to be prioritised again. At the same time we need to fill-in the template description. We will resume updating the issue once we are ready to resume work for it.
