For the subsoil jar from about a half metre under the ground:

• Total height of settled material: 56 mm, maybe minus 2mm for glass = 54 mm
• Height of clay layer: 2 mm (3.7%)
• Height of fine silt layer: 23 mm (42.6%)
• Height of course silt layer: 29 mm (53.7%)

For the topsoil jar:

• Total height of settled material: 88 mm, maybe minus 2mm for glass = 86 mm
• Height of clay layer: 2.5 mm (2.9%)
• Height of fine silt layer: 83 mm (96.5%)

It would appear there is almost no sand, the course silt just appears to be thicker silt rather than finer sand.

On the basis of the graph at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:SoilTexture_USDA.svg, this soil would be described as silt loam.
