Relation of citable topics to categories is a very generic "sub-category" relation: what is the best RDF verb to use for this?

we should use rdfs:subClassOf.

I'll make the necessary global changes in our data.

Done for subClassOf. I'm sticking with a verb in the latepig namespace for its inverse ("superclass"), because I can't see any direct expression of the inverse relation in RDFS (although I'm confident that for this application, we do want to treat the relation as symmetrical: subClassOf does imply a superclass relation for the other side of the triple).

I'm therefore closing this issue.
