Well I tried going back to the old version of the Scp drivers I had from 2013 hit forced install and I think that somehow made everything work? I was able to start the DSx service afterwards, didn't even have to restart my computer. I'm not sure what actually happened because my Dualshock 4 works even though the old version of Scp I had shouldn't support it.
Screenshots for reference on what I used.
I have no idea why that worked but I guess this can be closed?
Recently tried using ScpToolkit after using the old version of Scp from years ago and have run into some issues. I installed the all the requested drivers but ran into an issue with the DSx service not starting and the Virtual Bus having the dreaded yellow exclamation mark in the device manager. I've already tried using the Clean Wipe and reinstalling the drivers after a reboot but that hasn't worked.
If I run the Legacy Server my DS3 will still connect over Bluetooth. I assume I'm missing something pretty obvious here. On Windows 7 Home Premium.
