New maintainer needed! #68

I haven't used the source service for quite sometime, and don't have the time to give pianobarfly the love it needs.

If you're interested in taking over, drop me a note.

I'm a sysadmin, not a developer. I don't have the skillset. If it is actively maintained again I'd offer to try making a debian package and getting into the debian and ubuntu repos.

Would switching to an organization on github help in any way? Thinking it might free up your time and allow a group to manage instead of one person. Just an idea.

@zachgibbens I'm not interested in packaging for a distro. I'll leave that up to a future maintainer.

As far as transferring to an organization, I don't really see the point. There's been little outside interest in pbf. Someone still needs to control the organization, and I'm not willing to transfer it someplace just for it to be abandoned. It's safely abandoned here 😉 .

That being said if several people came forward with a proposal about an organization I'd entertain it.

Please don't take this as me being "possessive". Far from it. I'm not the original author of pbf, and I hope I did a good job with care and feeding when it was my turn. Now it's someone else's turn, and I do want to see pbf go to a good home.
