Update wipes out my Gmail module #300

What is the problem? Describe completely:
The last couple of times that Minimalist has been updated, it deletes the Gmail
module and I have to reinstall and set it all up again. This is a bit silly
surely?

Minimalist version   - 0.6.7
Relevant core module - Gmail
Chrome version       - 24.0.1312.57 m
Operating System     - Win 7 Pro x64
Language             - English
Google Apps user?    - Yes
Other extensions     -

Please provide any additional information below and attach screenshots if
relevant.

The first time I installed minimalist it seemed to be for Gmail and installed
the Gmail extension automatically. I set this up and had it working fine. Then
the last update (about end of Jan 2013) deleted my settings and I had to start
again. This update (04/02/2013) seems to have wiped out all my modules apart
from Google Reader (which I don't want). There doesn't seem to be any option to
add a Gmail option. So I tried adding the module from the drop down on the tool
bar whilst on the Gmail page. This added a module named after my inbox, but
there are none of the old predefined options for GMail. It seems to want me to
add things in from scratch.

a) What am I doing wrong?
b) Why is it nuking all my previous settings. It's really annoying to have to
reset this up after every update.

Thanks

The January update was supposed to delete the old modules:
  * Minimalist for Gmail
  * Minimalist for Google Reader
and replace them with the new modules:
  * Gmail
  * Reader

This week's update should only have deleted modules that met the following
requirements:
  * Author: Ansel Santosa
  * Name: Minimalist for *

To reset core modules go to Data > Repair Core Modules.

Once you pick your options go to Data > Upload Data to save your options with
Chrome Sync in case the modules get deleted again for whatever reason...

The next update(s) should make some options in the UI much clearer and hopefuly
introduce some auto-repair features.

Sorry for the inconvenience!

Hi - thank you for the quick explanation. I will back up the settings as soon
as I can. By the way, this was only annoying because Minimalist does such a
good job of cleaning up Gmail. It's one of my favouritw Chrome plugins. So
thank you for that.
