Hey there, I have been using your firmware for the past few months, but I suspect this is more to do with the D7000 itself since it's been happening for years.
The D7000 will just freeze until rebooted. On windows it says "Windows can't communicate with the device or resource (primary DNS server). On phones it will say it's not responding, or just repeatedly ask for a password. On PS4 it also says it's something wrong with the DNS.
I suspect this is due to DNRD, as I have seen a previously closed issue regarding that with the exact same issues I was having. I'm not an expert at this as you are, so I'm not sure how to go about fixing this. I just sick of having this device brick itself constantly. I'm also not sure on what information I need to be giving you either. I'm on Build #605.
