Ok for those of you who don't want to sign up at helifreak.
Basically Bob says that heli flyers should use the top half of throttle stick
travel for upright flight. Even if that is all you will be doing. This is in
case you want to start doing aerobatics, you won't have to relearn how to
handle the throttle/pitch stick. With the way he sets his up switching flight
modes (ID0, ID1, ID2) will not cause the heli to jump too much. In a hover
which would be approx 75% stick travel the pitch curves always match. The
throttle changes some between ID1 and ID2. So when you change from ID0 to ID1
you should notice no change in the heli.
