Postponing a task beyond the end of the year doesn't increment the year

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Set the date of a task to 31 December.
2. Postpone the task by a day.
3. Check the date of the task - the year remains the same.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect the year to be incremented.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.16.3b, Android Gingerbread.

Please provide any additional information below.
