retweet tab is highlighted everytime a retweeted tweet is received

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Move to the timeline tab (or any other tab except the retweets one)
2. Wait to receive a retweeted tweet
3. The retweets tab is highlighted, notifying that new retweets have been 
received

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The tab shouldn't be highlighted everytime a retweeted tweet is received, or at 
least there should be an option to (dis)activate this.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system and
what Desktop Environment?
Operating system: ArchLinux
Desktop environment: Openbox
Hotot: latest version from mercurial repo
Python: 2.7.2

Please provide any additional information below.
This occurs since i updated hotot today. I think this is also related to the 
realtime updating mentionned in issue #386
