Same issue with me for 2-3 days. This happens very frequently. Maybe you
could make a tick box in the settings to turn error messages off? Or make the
error message look like a tweet. My main issue with this is that the error
screen covers up all of the tweets and you must click a box to close the error
message.

I'm running Hotot 0.9.6 on Ubuntu 10.10 from the Daily PPA and have been
getting these errors for quite a while.
I have tried twice to re-auth (The second time I deleted ~/.config/hotot and
started again but the errors still appear.
Hope this helps.

Running Hotot 0.9.6 on Mint 11 (katya) and have been getting these errors for
the past few weeks. Before that everything ran smoothly. Tried to
re-authenticate as suggested, but didn't help as well. Error appears in
auto-update intervals, that's all I managed to gather so far.
Looking forward to seeing it fixed!
