Cannot start hotot (segfault) #419

Hi,

As Debian user reports hotot immediately segfaults when starting. Full bug 
report is available at http://bugs.debian.org/631756

This is running rev. 814 on an amd64 architecture.

I attach the strace log this user sent to me for debugging in the hope it will 
help you.

Note that I run the same version on the same architecture without any issue.

Hi,

The user who had reported the issue confirms hotot now works normally - I don't 
know what happened exactly, but it seems it was a problem on her box.

This bug can hence be closed
