Improve styling of non-root pages: /about, /faq, /updates, /team: make it more optimized for reading (like a blog):

• [ ] possibly serif font
• [ ] add shadow to the container, make container background different from body background
• [ ] improve image sizes, logos
• [ ] improve sentence structure and paragraphs
• [ ] improve margins and padding
• [ ] add paper citation text, along with the link
• [ ] improve styling of FAQ items (cards? accordion?)

It's a somewhat creative/subjective task, so feel free to create a "Draft" pull request (a dropdown is embedded into the confirmation button when you submit a PR) and the maintainers will be tracking your progress and make comments.

While my HTML/CSS skills are very rudimentary, I can absolutely provide a better feel to the writing (more "blog-like" as you mentioned) with copyediting and proofreading.
