Showing 'diff' EP/GP on login #295

Would it be possible to build a feature which checks whether the epgp
data in epgp.lua are the same as the ones in the officer notes and, if
they're not, that it posts a line of text per user where the
differences in epgp are show.

ie.
PlayerA: +20 EP
PlayerB: +20 EP/-105 GP
PlayerC: +20 EP
...
etc.

Reason for asking this is that I usually take care of all the EPGP for
my guild, but obviously I can't always be online. When the other
officers handle a raid, I'd like to be able to check what happened and
made sure that it happened correctly. :)

First off you should trust your officers, otherwise why are they officers.
There is
going to be a webside application that lets all officers upload their Logs and
you
will be able to check for any 'mistakes' there.

I agree you should trust them. But that doesn't mean they do not do mistakes.
Also it is nice to log in and get an
update of what happened during your absence.

If you do add it, make sure there is an option to turn it off too. The Undo
button
should do the trick nicely IMO and I wouldn't want or need a feature to check
the
differences in EPGP while I was absent. Imagine doing that if you went away for
a
week on holiday, and trying to spot a mistake amongst all those numbers. The
webside
application should take care of all that, don't you think?

A ingame display of changes would be great! so you could see what values were
changed and who changed it.
The current values are already saved in your savedvariables.lua so you could
compare them to the values in the
officer note?

This is implemented on www.epgpweb.com, so I do not think it is needed for the
addon itself.
