Are you having multiple people do EP and GP?

Just the guildmaster who runs the reoccuring, but then does nothing else with
it,
and I run all the other crap, since I dont want reoccuring announcing, but I do
want
GP changes due to loot announced..

That's the problem then. Only one person should be running EPGP in a raid.
Otherwise you overwrite each
other's values. There is not much I can do about this since the API Blizzard
provides is not that great and they do
not seem interested in putting in a fix.

We've run in to that problem a few times too. At times we had 3 people modifying
EPGP: the ML awarding GP, another officer awarding boss EP, and another doing
the
recurring. But recently we figured out how to do the boss EP without it
forgetting
that it's doing a recurring, so we're just down to 2 now.
I've been trying to think of some way to have multiple people altering the
officer's
notes at once, but can't. The officer's notes aren't designed to support what
we're
trying to do.
But perhaps a solution could be to have the EPGP addons of the extra officers
quietly
submit desired EP and GP changes to a "master" EPGP addon for that raid, so that
"master" addon is the only one that ends up making any changes. Maybe that
logic can
be as simple as having the Master Looter being the only one who's EPGP will make
changes. For anyone else who is using EPGP to make changes who is not a ML,
their
addon simply shoots change requests off to the ML's EPGP addon which will make
the
change. And the ML's addon can log everything then, including from the other
officers.

Why can't a single person do EP and GP? Is it that hard?
Implementing one thing means something else will be left behind. Time is not
infinite :-) The question is, is it
worth it? I think (especially with the addition of lootmaster that will come
shortly) that it is not.
