Enhancement: epgp Sub ep award warnings #405

dont know if this has been said before, and i dont know if this is the
right place to say this:

i noticed in your current versions you have a "as the raid leader if your
a sub for ep"

now i think this is brillient idea and the officers in the guild im in are
using this function to award subep to the people left out of the raid,
However the officers do not spam the guild with the EPGP they say it in
the raid, e.g the recurring EP. This is all well and good if you are in
the raid, because it tells you when the EP was given and who to whisper....

this isnt a great hand to the people OUTside the raid (subs)

What i propose is that you have a option on where to say the Subep
warning, and where to output the Recurring or EP awards. So you would have
two seperate statements from EPGP in two different channels

e.g
[guild]: here would say "Whisper me to be placed on the EPGP list to
collect your recurring EP"
[Raid]: EPGP +000 awarded to XXXX, YYYY, ZZZZ

see? so that the people in the guild can tell if they should be whispering
the raidleader or not?

If you do not understand what i mean please state, and if i have to post
this in a different area please state aswell :) Much appreciated

Paul

We take care of both cases by having all EPGP announcements posted to a custom
channel. I believe this covers the intent of what you are after.

Marking as won't fixed. The standby announcement now always goes to guild
independently of your custom channel. See issue 456.
