EPGP not on in-game log, nor is epgp.lua updated

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Every time one of our officers does a mass award, or an individual award, 
his in-game log does not change.  For example, on a recurring amount, he 
gets a notification that recurring amount has stopped but, when he looks 
at his log, no EP has been awarded.  To make matters worse, his epgp.lua 
file has not been updated.  

When looking at either his in-game log or EPGP.lua file, the last entry is 
July 27th and he has had 4-5 raids since then.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
All EP awards he has made since July 27, 2009.  Instead, no EP awards are 
listed since then on either the in-game log, nor epgp.log file.

What version of the product are you using? What locale is your client (en,
ru, kr, ch, es, tw)? What other addons do you have installed and what
versions?  He is using 5.4.12, but this was not working even before the 
latest version was created.

Sorry, WoW is down at the moment, but EP awards work for one of my 
officers (ONLY one out of 4 who use it; the others have similar issues and 
other bugs may be recorded later).  However, minimum EP is 35,000, Decay 
is 10%, minimum GP is 100,

and region of your guild?

Did you try having him reinstall the addon? As in remove the epgp directory and 
unzipping the archive again.

Yes; this is his 3rd re-installation.  Unfortunately, he is only on late nights 
but 
tonight we are going to have him update to the latest version again, but are 
not 
expecting much.  We have had him try running as administrator as well as 
normally 
(he is using Vista), and neither makes a difference.  In addition, he has 
unblocked 
all epgp files to ensure vista allows them to be written to; again, no change.  
As 
he is the only officer in his night raids, this has become quite onerous for 
administration :(

Yes, unfortunately, and we are at our wits' end.  Headcount is not sufficient 
to 
enable us to determine what EP was awarded and there is virtually no way for us 
to 
dummy it up.  I got a copy of his epgp.lua file which, once again, shows no 
change; 
he is not online at the moment, so all we can hope for is the log shows this 
time so 
he can take screen prints and we can manually enter transactions, which is 
onerous 
at best.  However, if the log doesn't show in-game, we are totally up the 
creek.  If 
you could allow us to copy the log as it exists into a cvs file, it would be a 
lot 
easier to import than parsing and importing the epgp.lua file, assuming writing 
to 
that file worked. :(

Can you please do the following test? Have the person for which epgp is not 
working do 
the following:
- open debug window (/epgp debug)
- open standings - take screenshot
- open log - take screenshot
- add 100 EP to the first member on the standings window - take screenshot

And attach the screenshots on this bug report.

Sorry to take so long responding to the question about the log; he is gone 
weekends.  Yes, the new update fixed seeing the log issue but did NOT fix his 
or 
anyone else's epgp.lua from writing to file.  However, we have found out how to 
fix 
it, although it may not be a viable option for everyone who has this problem.

The problem is writing the file, and Vista.  This has been a problem with other 
addons but unblocking all the lua files in the addons folders work for most 
addons; 
it did NOT with epgp.lua.  Running as administrator only worked for a short 
period 
of time and eventually confused WoW (or Vista) totally, so that it would work 
for a 
couple of days and stop working again.  The resolution, which works now for 
everyone 
with vista, and which will hopefully continue to work, is to go to User Account 
Controls and turn them off.  This keeps Vista from stopping the file from 
writing 
and apparently resolves the problem.  For anyone who actually needs UAC, this 
is not 
a solution for them.
