Settings being cleared after a wipe

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.  Check EPGP Settings for things such as Announce, Tooltip, Boss Kill 
Tracking, Whisper System, and whatever else there is, and if disabled, 
turn them all on.
2.  Start a raid, and recurring EP.
3.  After a little while, all options have been disabled again.  I 
generally notice after we have been running for awhile with no EP 
distribution, or on a boss kill when the window does not appear. It seems 
that they may be getting cleared with a wipe (We do not turn on wipe 
tracking while running)   I have yet to test this theory though.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?  Expect addon to 
leave options enabled.  Instead, they are being disabled automatically 
during the run somehow.

What version of the product are you using? What locale is your client (en,
ru, kr, ch, es, tw)? What other addons do you have installed and what
versions?  Latest version as of 9/10/09

I will attempt to test if it is related to a wipe tonight.  It was 
mentioned by another user on the post I made on the group that it was 
occuring to them, and seemed to be wipe related.

This also happens to a few of our officers.  

Wanted to let you know when it happens to our Officers:  It is mostly noted 
when ever
zoning into a new zone (wiping and rezoning in as well).  It still hands out EP
during recurring awards, however it is a big pain to go back through and 
distribute
GP, as the pop-up windows becomes disabled.

Same problem here.
Evry time I zone in/out of instances or use a teleport out of one, I have to 
access
the EPGP config menu and re-enable the guild announce, boss, tooltips etc...
not a single Lua error displayed.

Installed version is 5.5.7 (20 sep 2009)

Some people say QuestGuru messes up EPGP. I've looked at the code and didn't 
find 
something obvious though.

ok based on the previous comment I can confirm that quest guru is the add on 
that conflicts with EPGP.  It is in 
the main module, not in any of the history or tracker modules.  It appears the 
problem is occurring at the point 
in time that you are retrieving the saved settings for EPGP.  Somehow it is 
interfering with that process.  if you 
want more info on exactly what I can replicate let me know.

Confirmed; after disabling Questguru (only) the zoning into instances doesn't 
disable
the flags in the epgp config screen;
still, I think this matter should be investigated

Note that EPGP 5.5.4 and QuestGuru get along fine. Leaving Questguru as is and
rolling back to EPGP 5.5.4 (from 5.5.7) fixes this particular problem - or at 
least
did for me. I don't have 5.5.5 or 5.5.6 to test but it seems this issue was
introduced into EPGP after 5.5.4

i dont have this addon called quest guru but the same thing happens to me, one 
boss
it works and another it stops cuz settings reset.
