Standby members signed up on alts not being cleared on reward.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. member on alt joins standby on alt
2. EP reward given
3. members who are signing up on or for a main get cleared from the list 
and are whispered about removal, but the alts are not removed from award 
list and are not whispered

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
all members on standby should be removed and whispered equally

What version of the product are you using? What locale is your client (en,
ru, kr, ch, es, tw)? What other addons do you have installed and what
versions? How many members do you have in your guild? (/guildinfo).

also i have been seeing this issue for at least 2 months. so its nothing recent.

to clarify further this only happens when on alt and not specifying the main 
when 
joining standby.
