Fails to display referenced static images #21

Expected Behavior

Images from docs/static subfolder should be displayed when referenced in md files.

Current Behavior

Images from docs/static subfolder are not displayed as expected when referenced in md files - not on GitHub in browser and not in neic-sda.readthedocs.io web pages.

Alternative text for figure is displayed instead of the actual figure, 2 example files/pages: submission.md and encryption.md.

Same md files seems to work and display images nicely in a local deployment with 'mkdocs serve'.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Visit https://neic-sda.readthedocs.io/en/latest/submission/
  2. See that the figure is missing under the "Ingestion Workflow" header
