[x] Drop support for Python 2
[x] Drop support for Python < 3.7
[x] Make sure RTFD rebuild is triggered and finishes correctly
[x] Make sure pyproject.toml allows correct packaging
[x] Revert c322f7eedef3ec87efe78106c6b267e8b569c0da (temporary workaround for py27)
