Xcode 6.0.1 crash on my side. It's like the plug-in it not compatible

FredericJacobs commented 10 years ago

Is @questbeat still maintaining this? I use it quite intensively and I'm happy to maintain a fork if this project is abandoned.

The plug-in works fine on Xcode 6 running on Maverick. But will crash XCode 5 or 6 running Yosemite.

NSCabezon commented 10 years ago

yeah it does crash under yosemite :(

carmen-gh commented 10 years ago

crash under Xcode 6.1 and Yosemite 10.10

cp3hnu commented 10 years ago

waiting for updating

scottphc commented 10 years ago

expect for updating +1

haithngnbak commented 10 years ago

waiting for support, the awesome plugin :+1:

sascha commented 9 years ago

I've created an Xcode 6 compatible fork of this excellent plugin at https://github.com/sascha/Lin-Xcode6. I've also made some changes to better fit into Yosemite's appearance. Yosemite and Xcode 6.1.1 (Build 6A2008a) or Xcode 6.2 beta (Build 6C86e) are required.

carmen-gh commented 9 years ago

@sascha you could send a pull request to @questbeat This would be great. I would like to about the plugin with Alcatraz

ndbroadbent commented 9 years ago

@sascha +1, would love to be able to install using Alcatraz

sascha commented 9 years ago

I doubt @questbeat would merge my fork, because it removes all backwards compatibility with < Yosemite. @questbeat: If you are still maintaining this, please feel free to take any code from my fork. Otherwise I'm happy to maintain my fork as a successor to your version and submit it to Alcatraz.

haithngnbak commented 9 years ago

Thank you, @sascha !

werediver commented 9 years ago

@sascha, can you please consider enabling issue tracking on your fork? Actually, I want to suggest adding your fork to the http://alcatraz.io/ repository to enable easy installation.

sascha commented 9 years ago

@werediver I've enabled issue tracking. Feel free to create an issue, but I don't really want to add my fork to Alcatraz until I know if @questbeat is still maintaining this. I've sent him an email and will let you know if he gets back to me.

werediver commented 9 years ago

@sascha, thank you. For now my question is resolved, but I glad to hear you're open to dialogue. Good plugin, but not yet perfect, so I hope it would evolve further.

skx926 commented 9 years ago

@sascha very nice!

keepyounger commented 9 years ago

@sascha Thank you!

woshizilong commented 9 years ago

@sascha thank you for xcode6

carmen-gh commented 9 years ago

@sascha did @questbeat send you an answer? What is going to happen to Lin?

sascha commented 9 years ago

@camina-apps Unfortunately he didn't. I've created an issue in the Alcatraz repo and asked for advice on how to move forward. Unfortunately I didn't get a reply there yet either. Feel free to +1 it: https://github.com/supermarin/Alcatraz/issues/210

nek023 commented 9 years ago

This repo is not actively maintained, so Lin doesn't support Xcode 6 or later. And currently I'm not planning the future version of Lin. It's ok to fork and develop another version.

I'm so sorry about this, and about too late reply.

nek023 commented 9 years ago

OK, I've changed my plan. I'll start working on the new version of Lin. And I'll move back to the previous Lin repo (maybe), because it's my failure that I separated Lin and Lin-Xcode5. The new plugin will be very different from the current version (this means the new features will not be only the support for Xcode 6), so I think it will not conflict with @sascha's great work.

Maybe it's difficult for yours to trust and wait for me ... but if you are interested in, please let me know.

Updated Lin.
