google reader watch not working

For some strange reason the google reader watch is not working correctly....
This is a very strange bug because when you use the greader class seperately it 
works 
but used in a watch it always gives the error: "could not connect to server".

I attached a file with the exact same greader class as in the watch...it asks 
for 
your username and password and it will show you your unread items.
It does exactly the same is in the watch.

Could somebody test it and try to find why it does not work in a watch!

to try the file execute this command: python watch_web_greader.py
