watches keep notifying on each refresh until you clear them #5

To reproduce, use a gmail watch and have 1 unread mail in your inbox. Every
x minutes (depending on your watch refresh interval), you will hear the
sound (if you set one), even though you will see no notification.

This is because the watch has new mail, but was not actually updated.

Actually, this was a much bigger problem than I imagined. This applied to all 
the
watches, not just gmail, and affected the general notification logic. Why didn't
anyone complain to me about this sooner? :)

It may not be entirely fixed in revision 61. Please do some quality assurance 
here.
