Execute command when a watch is cleared #89

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

On the ubuntu forums there was somebody who wanted to turn on his "new
mail"-led when there is a new mail and turn it off again when all mails are
read.

Currently it would be possible to turn on the led when he has a new mail
(with a simple script in the update command) but it is not possible to turn
it off again. so i propose to also make add a cleared command option for
every watch.

Tell me if this is overkill or not.

The problem is, what if he has multiple mail accounts? I assume this is not the
case
and he won't have the problem of the led switching on and off all the time.

Anyhow, I'm a bit uncertain about the feature, as I'd say "but won't you have
the
notification icon in addition which is more obvious to see anyway?".

And, asides this specific use case, I can't think of another case where you
might
want to have a "command when cleared", if you can find other uses for this then
yes
it could be valuable to implement this; otherwise, I'm a bit reluctant to
impose yet
another gui option that would (I think) never be used by most users...
