Have checked sdcard/ and there is no folder called quake3, from other threads
it seems that you are required to copy the contents of your baseq3 folder to
your /sdcard/quake3/ folder. Where do I get baseq3 from?

I have added the folders required and I realized that the sdcard is not labeled
"sdcard", it is just labeled "sd" how can we fix this?

I have a Samsung Captivate. The internal SD card (that came with the phone) is
shown as /sdcard. Adding an additional external SD card on these phones will
you get an "/sd" folder inside "/sdcard" folder. Putting your
quake3/baseq3/(+paks) on the external gives the "Unable to locate
/sdcard/quake3" error. as it should due to the added "/sd" folder issue.
However moving to internal card does not give me an error anymore, but just
flashes and disappears failing to launch the game. Any ideas?

Hi, I am having exactly the same issue (error message saying Unable to locate
/sdcard/quake3) on my Galaxy S, I have tried the builds from February, August
9 and August 16. I have looked all over the directories on the phone but cannot
find any quake3 or baseq3 folders. I see others have got the game eorking on a
Galaxy S, does anybody know how?

This might help:

be sure to safely unmount your /sdcard folder after copying over e.g. usb, or
else it wont find the files.
