Push zone? Pull zone? Netflix does prepositioning, means push what they predict you will watch to their CDN (each of OCA is a video cache that you'll most likely watch), and let you pull other videos when need).

Netflix's OCAs brings higher stability: What may not be immediately obvious is that the OCAs are independent of each other. OCAs act as self-sufficient video-serving archipelagos. Members streaming from one OCA are not affected when other OCAs fail.
