Hi, did anything ever come of this project? This was the type of thing I was looking for :)

nelsonic commented 8 years ago

@jamesdixon funny enough, we built it for a client (in meteor ...) but then forgot to translate it to here... because we have since decide to write it for AWS Lambda...

what are your exact requirements?

jamesdixon commented 8 years ago

@nelsonic, forgetting happens :)

I have an Ionic mobile application and am using Hapi for my API. My requirements are fairly similar, but not exact:

nelsonic commented 8 years ago

Ok. cool. first two are solved. only the third one we will need to work on. are you tied to Azure by client/requirement?

jamesdixon commented 8 years ago

Yes, tied to Azure due to it being free for me for the next three years :) It appears they have a fairly decent Node SDK specifically for their Azure Storage product.

I haven't done any image uploading work with Hapi, so if you have any recommendations on the best approach, that would be great.

Thanks for your help!

@jamesdixon _three years_! how did you get that deal...?

jamesdixon commented 8 years ago

It's their Bizspark program. $750/mo in credit for three years. It's enough to get my business off the ground with a pretty decent setup :+1:

Oh... wow.... that's pretty aggressive customer acquisition!! fair enough... Might have to investigate that... :+1:
