I decided to start at the beginning and watch all of Marty Shwarts' videos one each day. https://youtu.be/HNSaXAe8tyg
I already knew the two Chords E Minor
and Asus2
:
If you already know the layout of the guitar and these two chords, you can safely skip this 16 minute video. ⏳
Chord pictures via: https://www.guitarhabits.com/how-to-play-and-apply-sus2-and-sus4-chords I think the notes should be displayed on the chords to help people remember them!
Beginner Acoustic Guitar Lesson 2 - The A Major Chord - 10 minutes to learn another chord ... This is either a fast pace or painfully slow depending on your perspective. I'm fine with the video taking 10mins because I'm practicing. But it's interesting to see the drop out rate; the first video (above) has almost 6 Million views whereas this one has 1.7 Million. only 28% of the people who watched the first video, made it to the second one.
Beginner Acoustic Guitar Lesson 3 - The G Major Chord "only" 1.2 Million views.

I learned the proper way to setup the G Major
Chord to allow for quick transition back to E Minor
