Involves changing fileprocessor & makeviewerconfig. For now I am only placing these products in the current, prev1 & prev2 framework. Assuming that there will be a followup request to include these products in the Archive process.
Per Bill H. would like the following wording on the menu:
Forest NDVI Change (USFS TACs-NASA)
Change from 1-Year Baseline (recent disturbances) current_february26_mar21.tif previous1_february18_mar13.tif previous2_february10_mar5.tif
Change from All-Year Baseline (all disturbances) current_february26_mar21.tif previous1_february18_mar13.tif previous2_february10_mar5.tif
Change from 3-Year Baseline (<3-Yr old disturbances) current_february26_mar21.tif previous1_february18_mar13.tif previous2_february10_mar5.tif
"Early Detect" (ALC) Change from previous year current_february26_mar21.tif previous1_february18_mar13.tif previous2_february10_mar5.tif
Synoptic Change from All-Year pheno-cluster max (MUC) current_february26_mar21.tif previous1_february18_mar13.tif previous2_february10_mar5.tif
Synoptic Change from All-Year mean of maximums (MMAX) current_february26_mar21.tif previous1_february18_mar13.tif previous2_february10_mar5.tif
change Synoptic to Seasonally-Adjusted
Because the new ACL, MUC & MMAX layers will be within the symlinks dir make map will automatically pick them up. The work then was to adjust fileprocessor.py
We have begun uploading multiple new NRT MODIS forest change and NDVI products to the NEMAC SFTP site, including thus far:
1) forest change based on current versus historical 5000 pheno-cluster max under the curve NDVI for 2000-2011 – located on SFTP at: /efetac_nasa/X_MUC_ALL_YR – latest product named “20130414_24_muc_ayr.tif”.
2) forest change based on current maximum NDVI versus the mean of the maximum NDVI for all previous years – located on SFTP at: /efetac_nasa/X_MMAX_ALL_YR – latest product named “20130414_24_mmax_ayr.tif”.
3) forest change based on current ALC NDVI versus maximum NDVI for previous year – located on SFTP at: /efetac_nasa/X_ALC_1YR – latest product named “20130414_24_alc_1yr.tif”.
4) eMODIS 24 day NDVI – maximum value compositing method – located on SFTP at: /efetac_nasa/X_NDVI_MAX_EMODIS – latest product named “20130414_24_ndvi_mvc.tif”.
I am not sure how these are to be integrated into the mix (e.g., how arranged and what will they be called), though here they are. The ball is in your court. Given all of the NRT MODIS products now available for ForWarn, I wonder if it would be possible to two map layer windows – one for primary MODIS products and the other for the secondary ancillary contextual products?
