Expose more docstrings #203

Expose more of our existing docstrings in the docs. Addresses #177.

This is ready for review.

The only file that has significant documentation that I did not add to the docs is passthrough.py, since I figured not many people would be interested in that. I did add the emulator classes, which I was on the fence about, but I figured it might be useful for new developers trying to understand the project.
