I see vars-dark.css and code-dark.css commented out. Is there a plan to turn them on at all, or selectively, or just have them as hidden easter eggs?

I was experimenting with it, because the token values we are taking from the ndl package include light and dark themes. No firm plans to do anything with those -dark styles just yet, though.
