My environment: Ubuntu 18.04 - neo4j (1:3.5.7) Neo4j Browser version: 3.2.20

http://localhost:7474/browser/ :server connect Connect URL: bolt://localhost:7687 User/pwd: neo4j/neo4j Connect

Neo.ClientError.Security.Unauthorized: The client is unauthorized due to authentication failure. Please inform me how to solve this

Set new neo4j-server password:

• delete file /var/lib/neo4j/data/dbms/auth
• sudo neo4j-admin set-initial-password neo4j
• sudo service neo4j stop
• sudo service neo4j start
• Restart Browser: localhost:7474/browser - connect to neo4j-server is ok with User/pwd = neo4j/neo4j
