99% of the working copy in my company is by externals, and when I open up the 
repo-browser it lags like an old lady (~10 to 15secs), and with TSVN v1.6x it 
is faster.

But I can't find a way to turn the external view off, is it possible to turn it 
off in repo-browser?

Due to the heavy load this causes, we have to implement this in 1.7.x.
But only as an advanced setting (which doesn't require resource changes) and 
then leave the change in the settings dialog to 1.8

This issue was updated by revision r22360.

Option to turn off pre-fetching and external parsing in repo browser.
The option is for now an advanced setting in the settings dialog, but will be 
made a real option for 1.8.
