Missing information for custom editors in documentation #1900

Description

The documentation for custom editors is really poor. There are no examples about how the js files should look like or what options you have.

Expected behavior

The documentation lists available editors, shows options for a new custom editor and shows some examples how to create a new editor or extend an existing one.

Actual behavior

The documentation only shows the basic usage of changing the used editor. Neither already available editors nor any information on how to create a new custom editor (except yaml configuration) are shown.
