Error running pip3 install --user pynvim - Failed to build greenlet #463

I'm trying to install the pynvim package but getting the following error:

My OS is MacOS Catalina version 10.15.7

A bit difficult to make sense of the error but it looks like greenlet might be the issue? I note the warning message at the top of the output about pip being run by an old package manager so I tried python3 -m pip install --user pynvim but received the same message. I get the exact same error trying to install neovim pip package too. Any helpers would be greatly appreciated thanks!

Have you read the error messages? It is greenlet build error instead of pynvim.
