@joachimweyl Need more details on the context for this. Does this mean departmental teams (eg. ECE and CS?) Does this mean Research computing equivalents at partner universities?

This came out of the retrospective for RHODS Experimental Installation Pre-NERC Epic. @dystewart said that something that would be helpful in the future was a way to communicate with the BU IT folks to communicate around announcements and keeping them up to date with things happening in RHODS. @dystewart would you like to add anything?

More specifically, it would be nice to have a list of TA's/professors who are running courses in rhods in the production cluster. Often times when things are going on (for instance prod cluster goes down or images cant be pulled) there is not currently a list of people this concerns, to easily pass on this info to, or vice versa

@msdisme description and title updated based on the alignment of requirements.

discussed in grooming (5/1/2024) -

Discussed in NERC call - to determine listserv vs. mailchimp need to decide who should be able to send notes to prof or ta's.

thinking about this question - who should be able to send notes to prof of ta's - I think this needs to be a broad list since we do not know in advance who may need to do the contact. In the case of Mailchimp is it possible to have a "general use" account? If not we should proceed with using a listserv. Is there a NERC listserv or should we use the MOC A or an MGHPCC one?

Heidi's preference is that RH engineers not use this for contact with professors or students.
