request for on site help troubleshooting a down ethernet link (nerc-hyp-lacp-1) #697

We lost connectivity to nerc-hyp-lacp-1 server.

We would like to rule out low level issues by

1) examining and reporting status of the port link lights 2) re-seating both twinax cables connecting this server to the switch (they are LACP aggregated)

Server: nerc-hyp-lacp-1 (Dell R740xd) Serial Number: 4VZ91S2 Location: R2-PC-C6 - U1

Please verify the server serial number in addition to it's rack location. I believe the rack is accessible via MOC keyset.

Please advise if you are unable to do this today, we will need to migrate some user workloads of unable to resolve this today.

Chase from techsquare examined the links and fixed connectivity by re-seating the cables.

From Techsquare: "Initially there were no link lights on the nic, and the ports on the switch were blinking amber. After re-seating both ends of each twinax cable the nic lights turned green, as well as on the switch."
