Syncing Neuron wallet #1571

Describe the bug Installed Neuron wallet, sync process will take 3 days at current pace. Read prior thread of user with similar problem. Cleared the cache, only slightly quicker. Already plugged directly into router (faster than wifi?) Any other suggestions? Is there a trimmed down version of the wallet?

Environment (please complete the following information):

Run a CKB Mainnet Node In brief,

  1. Download and unpack the CKB
  2. Initialize for the Mainnet by the command ./ckb init --chain mainnet
  3. Run the node by the command ./ckb run

Thank you Chen, but this is not allowing me to enter any command. It already recognizes that "Config files already exist."

Please, why does the wallet take so long (5-6 days) to simply sync with the blockchain?

Use ./ckb init --chain mainnet --force to solve the config exists problem by overriding them.

But the good news is that we've published Neuron@v0.30.0-rc1 which bundles the v0.31.0 CKB Node, so please forget about the command line and download the new one.

The synchronization of CKB Node before 0.31 is usually stuck in 30k - 40k blocks due to a known issue and it has been fixed in 0.31.

Use ./ckb init --chain mainnet --force to solve the config exists problem by overriding them.
