Regarding the IPI baremetal install on virtualized hosts, I'm using a virtualized RHEL8 system as the provisioner host. The provisioning VM does get deployed but never gets an IP address for some odd reason. I'm following Craig Robertson's guide: Guide to Installing OpenShift 4.10 IPI on Bare Metal

Did you manage to get this setup working to some degree (or at least have the provisioner VM get IPs on the baremetal and provisioning network interfaces)?

Hi @fahadysf. Yes, the described setup did work for me quite well back then. If you're following my setup, then I'd guess you did not get the veth pair working and the DHCP does not propagate to the brridge called "baremetal"
