Maybe TIC-80 should be built with -DBUILD_TOUCH_INPUT=ON
option for the Steam Deck.
I could try that.
@grhmhome did you have an opportunity to try this?
@aliceisjustplaying I haven't had a chance, but I could try sometime this weekend. Maybe tonight. I could compile on my pc then copy the binaries to my Deck.

Compiling it now on my Arch Linux desktop. Will update you if it works. Update: Built and it runs on my Arch desktop. I will update my Steam Deck and try it on there.
Update again: Compiling it the hard way directly on my OLED deck. Its getting warm.

Haha, my current test device for all the Windows TIC-80 stuff is a Steam Deck and yes the fans are on 100% perpetually. At least I got it in the dock

My Deck doesn't like compiling it because dependency issues. The steam deck digital keyboard mostly works via flathub version, but not everything. I can access surf, play, and exit a game. I can also access the different dev tools.
When attempting to access surf via TIC80, I'm unable to press the enter key and maybe the backspace key on the virtual keyboard. I plan on writing a bash script that will automatically load surf mode as a temporary work around.
